Rachel Wood Designs undertakes all work under the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Rachel Wood Designs accepts orders from private clients on the understanding that items will not be sold on to retail outlets.

ORDERING

Clients will receive a purchase order as confirmation that their order has been placed.

After an order has been placed there may then be a fee for cancellation of the order whether in part or in full or changes to the order. This includes change of colour theme/ change of design (complete)/ partial change of design (simplification or enhancement). The fee would cover time already spent in production and materials that have already been ordered, at this stage.

PRODUCT AND SERVICE

All work will be completed by Rachel Wood and not sub-contracted.

All designs for jewellery and jewellery kits remain property of Rachel Wood Designs. These items are for private purposes, and are not for re-sale.

Clients should be aware that as all items are handcrafted, there might be slight variation from original samples/sketches/photographs that are ordered from.

Descriptions such as ‘gold’ or ‘amethyst’ are usually in reference to colour rather than actual materials unless otherwise stated.

Responsibility lies with the client for any clothing/materials etc. supplied for embellishment or to be used as part of the commissioned order. (For e.g. A dress for beading/embroidery work or a string of beads to be re-used)

Wire will tarnish with age but this can be delayed with proper care/handling and storage.

Rachel Wood reserves the right to use images of her own work (including client orders) in any advertising or promotion.

PAYMENT

Deposits will be taken for any items ordered with the balance then due on delivery/collection. Alternatively, full payment will be due in advance. Terms of payment will be pre-agreed at time of order.

Please make cheques payable to Rachel Wood Designs. At present we do not accept credit or debit cards.

DELIVERY AND RECEIPT OF GOODS

All deadlines for delivery/collection must be determined at time of order. We will use all reasonable efforts to comply with deadlines specified but are not responsible for matters outside our control.

All mailed orders are sent by Recorded Delivery 1st Class (UK Mainland only). Postage and packaging will be a charged for as will any home deliveries. This is calculated on an individual basis and will be added to the client’s invoice. The client will be advised of P&P/delivery costs at time of order.

Items will be of a good and finished quality when dispatched, correct to the specifications of the client, and fit for the purpose specified.

Goods will correspond with the description on all invoices and purchase orders.

Once goods have been dispatched the responsibility for these items passes to the client, and they cannot be refunded. However, Rachel Wood Designs may rectify any faults or reasonable problems to mutual satisfaction, upon request.

If any further alterations are required after the goods have been received then this may be charged for.

By placing an order with Rachel Wood Designs the client is deemed to have read and accepted the above terms and conditions.
